Hello,
I have a 99 Diamante. I was about to change to a new set of hellas, when I noticed the right foglight has a hole in it! What to do now? I removed the light, and when I shook it - it rattles(I am guessing pebbles, bugs,....) I was thinking I could remove the lense and seal the hole with some kind of sealant? How do I remove the lense? I removed the 2 clips on the sides. Is it sealed inside? Do I just heat it up and pull the lense from the housing? Once I get the lense apart, I was planning on cleaning and repairing the hole with sealant. Let me know what you guys think, I cant believe this hole!:bowrofl:

Cheers!

Just put some clear silicone on the hole to stop water getting in. Where its located and the size of the hole hardly noticable. One of mine was like that on my previous car but worse but you couldnt notice it unless you had a good look at it. Only alternative is to replace the whole assembly.

Regards

Thanks for the info. I was thinking the same, but there is garbage inside the housing. How can I clean this out? I do not want to put a new globe in just for it to blow from contamination. Are these foggys possible to heat and pull the lense apart from the housing... If so, I can clean then reseal, anybody know?

Thanks!
