personally i would be looking at 2x12 inch subs in a sealed box


in my opinion all dvd HU's are the same (reputable brands) and pretty mcuh its all on price.....just make sure it has multi region, 3 preouts and thats about all u need.....good brands such as alpine and pioneer and JVC get my reccomendation (i have a JVC cd HU and its awesome)

Get 1 decent sub, box and amp and you will be much happier, rather than getting 2 half as good subs. 2 subs is for bling and rattling your car apart.

what he said.....but then some people are hell bent on 2 subs....but yeah, 1 sub off a mono will provide you with more bass than you can imagine

what type of music you listen to?
what the other guys said, get one decent 12" sub and monoblock and all should be sweet
but if you want 2 12's then hey go for it just remember to match the rms of the subs would be even better if the amp had more power than the subs
you looking at getting a full system?
6 1/2" splits at the front, 6 1/2" coaxials in the rear running off a 4ch amp
plus a good h/u and your done

*EDIT* dont buy pioneer amps cause they are ****

depends, ive got 1 JL W6, and i want a second.. because im not going to get any sub better than it :)

1 or 2 subs also depends on your budget.. like 2x pioneer 306c.. no single sub at double the price would be worth it.. whereas if youve got a $500 budget and are looking at 2 type-r's, you could do a LOT better with subs like Oz Audio Matrix Elites etc :)

all comes down to budget before people can really help you :)

Hmmm ok then. Maybe 2x 15inch subs ( Vibe Space 15 / Hertz Mille 380 ) and a mono block or two ( DD M1a / Z1 / Audison LRX1.1 etc ). Nice 3 ways splits ( Morel 9's with supremo / Hertz Mille ) up the front running off a 2 channel amp and a 4 channel amp ( Zapco items ). In dash DVD with screen ( not to sure here ) and Clarion HX2 head unit running two screen in the head rests. Only $20k there. Will sound nice but thats my advise going on what you have provided :bowrofl:
