This is my situation, i bought my first mitsu, previously owning 2 mazda 929's. I bought the KJ Verada GTV a couple of weeks ago and apart from the noisy tappets, which i'm getting replaced under warranty :) it is awesome, not sure how familular with it you guys are but its got the basically the VRX suspension/exhaust/163kw engine/17in wheels, all stock. you may think this is probably enough, but not for me, this is what i plan to do in the following few months...
K&N Panel Filter
Redback Exhaust
19" multispoke rims
Lowered (slightly more on front)
Dark Tint
Angel Eyes
Rear Parking Sensors

The link is to a pic of the type of wheels i'm after but they are hard to find suited to a KJ, if anyone knows any good wheel places in east melbourne your imput would be greatly appreciated.
My other query is, the red back exhaust is very popular with 3rd gens but i am wondering what the difference in sound is between it and the mitsu sports exhaust.
Other than that any comments or suggestions about your opions on what i plan to do are welcome.
cheers

The note with the reback on will be much nicer... these exhausts only really make themselves known at "WOT" though. Gives a nice lil pur at idle anyhow...
My system is similar to a redback, except I cut the mid muffler cut out... and mine has a nice lil manly pur at idle, and screams like a banshee at "WOT". Driven sedately though, and you couldn't tell it has a zorst upgrade.
So you might wanna think about cutting out the mid muffler if you want something a little more... scary. :bowrofl:
I don't know about other systems, but my muffler came with a dumped tip, so no holes get burnt in my bumper. And it looks stock. No flashy shiny tips.

Yeh i got my rada tinted by The Tint Professor in Nunawading (on Rooks Rd)
They did it for $240 because i had my other car tinted there a year before
Otherwise it would have been the standard $265 rate
