was wondering if people could post up a link or pic of a set of rims which you think would suit my black vrx.

i dont want a link to the site theyre on, i want a direct link to the rims themselves, or a pic of the rims, of even if you wanna go all out you could photoshop them on for me :P

I think your on drugs - tri-spoke wheels don't look good on anything :gtfo:

But i am also a fan of black wheels on black cars with polished dish :D so what do i know :D

Ive had these fitted for 3 yrs now, I still think chromies r the way to go on a dark colour

The make of the wheel is Enix, 2grand fitted with rubber...

not really a fan of anything done by Enix.... they seriously need to put some effort into their moulds, every wheel i've seen by them has been wavy and no neat edges

edit: Jess just put it better than i could, they seriously look like the chrome hub-caps that you can pick up for $20 down at supercheap

aaaand... anyway whats wrong with 3 spokes!? my mate has em on a Cefiro and it looks hot as :D

not having a go, just really not a fan, but as a whole i dont like many chrome rims at all anyway, i just remember having a flick thru the enix catalogue and they seemed the lower end of chrome wheels, but if you like them you have every right :D

the company actually trades as "Lucky Wheels & Tyres"....

I like the black on black - I like the five spoke black rims on page 1 (but with a deeper dish).
I also like chrome rims (but that's me and not everyone).
Silver should look good - not sure about shadow chrome / hypersilver tho (maybe not IMO).

There's lots of black rim examples in this thread...

Bronze works well with black.

Personally I would be looking for a set if some nice simple jap-style 5/6 spoke bronze rims.

Maybe even some taiwanese replicas of the TE37s or SSR type Cs etc. Theres some decently made taiwanese replica rims floating around now, if you can get your hands on them.

I might be a little biased though, seeing as how I scored second-hand brand-new condition SSR type C replicas for $600. They are decently made, and at ~8kg each they are a ****load lighter than the usual bob-jane type jobbies too :)
