Hi,
I have a TJ Magna that's been converted to LPG
Wondering if for a standard 80,000km service/tune-up the car needs to go to an LPG mechanic, or can it go to a generic mechanic (eg. Ultratune, K-Mart Tyre/Auto).

Thanks.

hey there

i just bought a tj with dual fuel but i previously owned a tr with dual fuel it was recomended to me to get it dyno tuned at service time as this was the best way to set the differnece between running on petrol and gas
if yours is straight gas it might be a bit easier. the mechanic should have some sort of skill with lpg though as its a little different to just peterol

On the rare occasion a mechanic gets to see one of my cars I take the LPG beast to a mech thats knows a bit about gas. They are usually better at tuning them. :D
