now i got an increase in budget :D, im starting to be more advanturous....

ive seen KJ veradas EI with 100-150kms on them go for as little as 8-9k

or KH XI similar condition around 9k

what does the XI have over the EI apart from leather interior? im leaning towards kj ei atm, simply becoz its newer, really like the look of them (and they got the tippy in them as well)!. and are the headlight in them bluish/whitish? or im imagining things? lol

and does the veradas have better brakes than the execs? coz the exec breakes are ordinary

They are rare at those prices, but im willing to look/wait for the right one :D

personally i owned a ei to start off with and then got my current xi. its all worth payin that lil bit extra, u get alot more features with the xi, the sun roof and leather seats alone make it worth the while.

although the base model is still good in its own mind, if u can go for the xi and u wont look back.

To be honest i couldn't justify the extra money for an EI. If i was going a verada, it'd be an Xi and only an Xi.
What's the diff between the TJ advance and KJ ei? longer bumpers?
P.S. I'm talking TH/KH plus, as obviously the 3.5L in the KE/F is worth the extra $$$.

I would go a vienta grande for something diffrent, nice leather and sunroof. Lowered with some rims would look nice, they go just as well and are so much better on fuel.....
My verada use to average 15-16 L/100klm where as my mates vienta uses 10-11 L/100klm

vienta grande are very exp, the plus side of getting a camry is that i know i could sell it 1 year later and not lose too much. but the vienta dont look too different to the normal camry, which btw isnt too good on the eye lol

if i buy a magna/verada then i'll probably looking at keeping it as more of a long term car.

I think the veradas have more sound proofing and rear headrests and a better sound system leather wheel and shifter

KJ Ei had climate, 4sp tippy and 16" alloys

series II advance got 4sp tippy and climate but KJ Ei went 5sp tippy and power drivers seat

I think your Verada must have had some problems. Mine uses a touch under 10L/100km combination 50% city 50% highway.

I picked up my KJ ei earlier this year for a great price and I'm very happy with it. No regrets. Dunno yet but I may add leather interior later, it's bloody cheap from the wreckers. But the cloth interior doesn't really bother me, it's more comfortable on hot summer here in QLD. Sunroof would have been cool, but not really necessary.

So for me, I couldn't really justify the extra cost for an Xi.

Ive got an Ei and paid $500 for leather interior, which includes electric seat.

Xi fake wood trim looks tacky anyways, Id say get an Ei and add what you want to it if there is a significant price difference between Ei and Xi.

Exactly what i did earlier this year as well
I bought leather online and had it installed by the pros so it looks all factory
I notice Veradas are getting popular nowadays with younger people (like me)

I bought a KH Ei not long ago (a few weeks, if that) and I am rapt with it.
Avg at the moment is 11.9L/100km but thats been 'testing' it a lot lol

I'll pop some pics up when I can be bothered... its just a standard Verada at the moment :P
