Well it looks like so far I have the TR with highest km's!
Round 335000 on my odo.... had the car 3 years this month, got it at 220000 so I've averaged 38500kms or so each year
Brand new engine 20000 ago, gearbox reco, lowered + new suspension, new starter motor + a/c condensor. Actually I think just about everything has been replaced in the time that I've had it minus the ECU.... :(

Hey another TR/TS Wagon! Hoo-hah Sorry, get a little excited - havn't seen your posts around. Is it a TR or TS and what rims have you got?
Sorry, back to the thread - my TS Wagon has done 312K
Gearbox & Clutch recently fixed - V6 still going strong (so far) (crossed fingers)

i think ive done around 225,000 km's, got it with about 174,000 on the clock about 3 years ago.
Had a brand spanking new Astron 2.6 in around 193,000. Not the best of ideas though (and not my idea anyway), i couldve spent that money on performance mods, gah....
Gearbox is still the original, not bad aye? Front shockers are original too but they're like 10% effective, ive just put in new shockers for the rear though, since they were an easy fit :)

My dad had a mate who had a V6 TR that had 400,000kms on the clock
no rebuild
hmm well thats good to know. now i know my car will last at least another few years, i can start spending money on it :D
On a side note, it must be kinda cool to say to people: "Hey....my cars alsmot travelled half a million Kms...."

My friends mum's XF wagon's odometer stopped working 5 years ago at 556,000 and they do over 100,000kms a year. So it's pretty safe to say it's done a million miles, original engine and gearbox.
Some cars are pretty amazing like that!

yup, last owner had some stuff in the book about a cracked head fixed. then few weeks back i fixed a blown head gasket and got the head reconditioned as well just because it was off. didnt cost any more cos i wanted to get it machined what with warping and all.

Hi TS Wagon.
Toongabbie, that's vic isn't it?
I know Toongabbie has been answered before, but I drive through there twice a day to and from work, so I hope it isn't in VIC...
My gen 1.5 has just over 207,000 on the clock. I've had it for over 3 years and only put on 23,000kms. So, I mustn't be travelling through VIC twice a day from Sydney!
