Over a month ago now, I bought a 2001 AU 2 Falcon with ABS and cruise control options with 190,000kms for $5,500 so I'd say a TJ MY02 Advance with 216,000kms is probably worth around the same. $6,000 maybe. Don't forget the TJ MY02 is not the same as a TJ series 2.

If it's in good condition, i'd say 8-9k.

216,000Km I wouldnt pay more than $4000. $5000 depending on if the timing belt has been changed somewhat recently.

Somewhat High Km engine, I'd be wary if it doesnt include service history logbook etc.

wonder how they rack up the k's, if its mostly done on the hwy then it shouldnt be too bad...

alsogotta remember that the youre paying for whats its worth in 07, not 06. since its dec already

I reckon $5k - $5.5k... as long as its been serviced reguarly, has been looked after and had its timing belt done it should be all good.

Even at $5.5k it is still a good buy. Coz if it has been looked after it should be able to go a few more 100,000kms.

i recon about $4k.
i just piced up an 02 exec with 120k with full service histor for $6k

Seriously there is most likly some stuff with less k's for the same money.

It's a belt and yes it needs to be changed every 100,00 km's...

$8.6k is a bit rich.

 just went and saw it and bought it for $8,500

http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/MITSUBISHI/MAGNA/South%20Australia/2226745.aspx

took it for a drive and parked it over a ditch so i could crawl underneath and theres not a single mark on it anywhere called the mechanic who last serviced it and they changed the belt at 200,000 Ks

it had the log book and it was serviced at the same place on time

car prices in SA are a fair bit higher then in melb and syd
so i think 8,500 for the advance with dual which is what i want/need it is a good enough deal

Sounds like you got a reasonable deal. Hope you enjoy it, thats the main thing :)

Well done mate, that's about what i'd have paid :). If it's in good condition, forget about the kms, doesn't mean jack all.
