I don't know if this is a common problem with 3rd Gens (search didn't bring up anything) so here goes.

Sometimes the back rest of the front passenger seat in my KJ Verada shakes violently as if it's having an epileptic seizure when it's unoccupied. This only happens if the car is idling or if i'm driving on some really bumpy roads. This behaviour is totally random.

Has anyone else expereinced this? If you have how did you fix the problem?

BTW, no offence intended to people who suffer from epilepsy. I just didn't know how else to describe the problem i'm experiencing.

Your seat is occupied by the lost soul of an MMC employee who was killed in the production line, whilst suffering from an epileptic seizure... I'd seek the aid of an exorcist asap.

Mine does this while going over slight bumps... hasnt always happened... just lately (past few months). Not sure if my problem has the same cause as yours (2nd gen/3rd gen) but i'd guess something has become loose in the seat over the years... I'll let ya know if i ever find the time to investigate.

Best fix is carry a passenger at all times hehe...

If you stick your finger up the side of the backrest youll feel 2 bolts on each side, ensure these are tightened.

This is for Velour interior, unsure of leather and I cbf walking out to my car to check.

Thanks i'll check it out on the weekend
Hope it's not too much of a pain to get to those bolts
I used to have a velour interior but now it's leather but i hope this doesnt make a difference
