which is realy wierd cause it was sold to me as a TE when i baught it from an auctions!
im doin some searches atm but im not comin up wit alot of info the question i wanted to ask is, the TE 2.4 and the TF 2.4 released the same year in 1997,is there a big difference between them/is there any difference at all?
any other 97 TF 2.4 manuals out there?
the only 2.4's i know of is Nexus matty_j and ezekal btw soz guys i fort i was a TE
sorry if sometin simular to this thread has been covered b4,im just hell shocked
all year ive been driving around thinkin i was driving a TE,and now on the weekend i work out that its a TF!
im prob more stupid that i didnt check my vin number wen i baught my car,meh oh well stil good to drive a magna:)

mines a TF build year is 1997 and it's 2.4L
i would not think that there would be any difference in the engine between the TE and TF's
there were minor interior and external differences.

not quite sure of exact bugs that have been rectified, always thought with a second series vechicle they would fix noticeable problems face by the first series. does any1 here noe of ne bugs rectified in the tf's that the te's had

90% sure something to do with the power steering was fixed between the TE to the TF.

Just remember that MMAL will change there vehicle build during the year and not at the end of the year hence you can't assume because of the year that it will only be a certain model.
The end of the build for the TE was the same year for the start of the TF.
As for any changes between the models (ie Bugs)
There was no noticeable difference between the engines (especially 2.4 litre which was a fully imported engine from MMC.
When bugs are fixed, MMAL do not necessarily wait for a model change to implement the improvement therefore there can be differences between the same models (improvements) it just depends on the introduction date for the change to the part and the part introduction to the assembly line.
As the models progress YES they get better but the changes can also occur in between models.
I hope this helps

does the TF look like a TE or a TH more, because the only dif between a TE and a TH is the engine the front bar, the rear break light and the interior, LOL not much imagination goes on in Mitsubishi when they design a new model for the magna :bowrofl:

Id say there wouldnt be too many left as most people who would have bought the 2.4 would have been older people (making a bold statement here :) ) and old people like autos from my experience.
