View Full Version : 3 & 4 Inches
hey guys,
i havn't posted on here for a looonnnnggg time. i have a different car now... sold the wagon and bought a 99 TH 3.5L Manual. I have had it for a few months now and have not done any modifications because i didnt want to spend any money... so today i bit the bullet and ordered my custom springs.
The rear will be lowered 4 inches and the front 3 inches. I know it will scrub a little bit, but im not bothered. I have attached a poorly done, but accurate photoshop picture of what it will look like.
let me know what you think.
oh yeh... and the window tint is photoshopped also.

my pockets aren't that deep. $550 custom springs cost me, that includes fitting & rolling the gaurds.

DONT FORGET ABOUT THE MECHANICS.
My dad is a mechanic and hates lowered cars. He cant put the arms of the hoist to lift up the car. Yet he has to grab a jack and spend an hour to properly align it. Therefore just get low springs not super low or custom. If you want it to look low, put bigger rims like 19 or 20 inch. Cheers

dude, puttin 20's on the car makes it sit up higher, i had 17's and it was sittin level with the tyre front and back, i got 20's and it went about1.5" higher..... and rod, thats how my cars gonna sit, maybe a tiny tiny bit higher, but yeh, i bit the bullet and got coilovers, i feel they'l pay for them selves when all i have to do is wind em up when i get a yellow sticker instead of getting my springs swapped out every time i gotta go over the pits

If they are the same rolling diameter (which they probably should be) the height of the car will not change.

Well then they're illegal. But that doesn't seem to matter much around here. lol
