My TS dies under load (max speed up hills 20-40 kph - its a rocket). I can get to about 50-70 kpm on flat if I accelerate slowly. If I put my foot down, I have no power and when I lift my foot the car almost stalls with 300-500 rpm and rough. I had the car tested any many errors reported pointing to the air flow sensor, will try exchange unit. Can unit be tested?
But thought I would check for any other ideas.

Make sure you check all the electricals, like spark plugs, distributer cap, leads.
If that doesn't turn up anything, try looking into the ISC or TPS.
