According to the factory workshop manual there's only one size 225mm.The 1st generation Magnas had 2 sizes TM 215mm and the TN - TP 225mm.All 2nd generation Magnas 2.6 and 3.0 have 225mm.

Ceramic Button MBK-6864HDCB

Dont get one of those in a road car, unless u like to not being able to slip the clutch at all. Button clutches are track use clutches.

The 2nd gen has only one clutch for the 4cyl.

WHen it is fitted the flywheel HAS to be machined, be warned it is a stepped one and has to be machined properly

Also check the pivot height of the clutch fork as these wear and will cause early failure of the clutch.

nanango motors they also do a1 exhaust there to. my old man knows the owner and he said that he normally charges aprox. 350 to do clutches in fwd cars. the clutch kit cost 200 + 10 freight i got no idea what brand it is but it should do the job. do you have to let it wear in or just drive normally when i get it back?

dude im running one in mine and i drive it on the street 99% of the time they are not hard to drive with at all. crispness of gear changes is great and it teaches u much better clutch control. u shouldnt be slipping the clutch anyway. also i can hold it on the friction point on a hill without revving the pisser out of it. not having a go at all just giving some information to those who may be thinking about getting one but are put off by everyone who generally has never had one saying that they are **** to drive with. i think its great personally

i did two clucthes in mine and never did the flywheel. i didnt do them becaus the cluch was worn, i did them when i replaced the gear box and the other when the pressure plate broke

there is no hard and fast rule that says you need to machine the flywheel
just as a general rule on FWD the flywheel should be machined to avoid high spots which may have been cause from the worn clutch plate... if not then no problem... simple
the only thing you will notice is that you will get a small shudder at the friction point if you have high spots on the flywheel... somebody correct me if i am wrong...

Sorry, but I do need to correct you :)

The clutch plate, in 99% of cases will have caused hot spots on the flywheel as well as having left marks where there will be grooves etc especially if the clutch has spent it's life being slipped by poor driving etc.

ALL manufactures of clutch kits will void any warranty if the flywheel is not machined. You are also due to get shudder very early on and early failure
