As the title says, how do I replace the lights in my TR
Does the Plastic suction rubber come off, and I do it that way?
Or do the globes slot through the rubber? And I unplug the backing?
Anyone who has done it please post

If the same as a 3rd gen...
You squeeze the sides of a plastic plug in and pull that out of center of rubber grommet. then remove rubber, and use your hands at awkward angles to undo the metal clip and pull it out.

i had the same delima when i changed them on my first gen. the rubber gromet stays there . mine took sooooo much elbow grease to get off:rant: must have never been changed before me.
i think the 1st gen are similar the the 2nd gen(well the back of the light anyways).
so u should be able to unclip it then with 2 fingers like a peace sign upside down to hold the rubber boot in place. then with ur spare hand pull it out. the real pain is when u want to reconnect them. cos of the rubber boot wanting to colapse while ur pushing it back on.

mmm I just went and gave it a go
The rubber can come off pritty easy, but the globe is in pritty tight.
Do I need to go through the front (take off the clips? for the plastic) OR is it all done through the back ?

Back back back!!!
Um, If like a 3rd gen, which i sounds like, I suggest trying to now find the metal clip/wire thing to unclip to get the bulb out, that is, once the rubber and the electrical-plastic connector. I think you gotta flick it to the side? Like in and over?

Yes I know what your talking about, ill take off the clip for the back of the globe and take the rubber off which makes it easier and try to unclip that metal thing behind the globe...
