not sure on the guys name but he just did up that mad **** orange magna. pretty sure he has the mono wiper....

thank you captain freakin obviouse.... very helpful..... but yeh it can be done, just remove the one you dont want, then its a case of adjusting the other one so i sweeps right accross..... but its a pointless mod, and me among othe people will call you a rally-ricer

stylen has done it to his 2nd gen

would look ultra ricey, but i think theres a tutorial on how to do it on a US galant (on the US galant forums)...dunno how much that helps :P

Very easy and the one wiper i have is a chrome one which enhances the rice factor by another 10 points.

Having the one wiper permanently sitting up in the middle of the windscreen would seriously piss me off. IMHO it is one of the most pointless and useless mods you can do.

But yes, it can be done.

Now if you could get it to work properly like the Peugeot ones etc., then it might be cool.

When we bought another magna to take the manual bits out, we didnt realise that it had like a bigger wiper on, but for some reason the other stock one was still attached. Its so annoying having one bigger so cant imagine what it would be like just using the one big wiper....

Yuck... don't even consider it. Why don't you just add a roof scoop and put your numberplate to one side of your front bumper while you're at it lol

some mercedes models came with a single wiper. crazy setup where there is a weird linkage setup that make the wiper sweep in a almosy square and it still hides away below the bonnet.

Why not ? I think it looks good and it's different instead of blending in with every other Magna.

as much as u do get the whole ricer thing i am converting my 2nd gen to a single wiper just coz it is different. Doing this does bring in a few problems tho. to not hav the wiper sitting in the middle of the screen u need to extend the linkedge on one of the arms i am doing this with a threaded ajuster coz the whole linkedge can not pass 180deg else u will end up with a mess as the wiper trys to clean ya bonnet. the other prob is because it now has double the area to sweep u have to work out how to speed up the motor. i have not looked into this yet. u will also need to play around with wipper arm sizes to get the best sweep area. u will also hav to make sure the arm will not hit on the plastic scuttle panel where the arm comes off (not to sure with the 3rd gen)
