when i start the car up after its been sitting there for a while (gone cold), i let the car warm up for 2-3 mins. then this is when the problem occurs, when i go to accelerate for the first time it the pedal seams sticky and response is very slow, i have no idea what could be the problem apart from the butterfly or loose wire, or could it just be the actual pedal itself?? but still everything runs fine, its just the first time i step on the accelerator. any ideas?
cheers.

Greased the pedal's cable recently?
sorta, can't really get to the whole thing, any part i should focus on?
Why are you idling your car that long for? Modern cars don't need idling. Just drive gently
for the first few minutes is enough to lubricate everything. Try accelerating without idling
next time and see what happens.

Use throttle body cleaner to clean out the deposits around the butterfly and where it closes in the throttle body. Worked for me after someone pointed out the obvious to me.
