nope, if anything i've taken stuff out. all my stereo is out cept for headunit, but thats all been out for weeks. it has happened once before, but when i changed the fuse it was fine. massive surge that took out 2 of my mrv-1507 amps, but i did have the remote wire connected to tail lights :doubt: but thats all taken out now. will try again tonite after i give car a good thrashing, and see what happens. gotta drive to portland on sunday thats my main concern.

Was it or did it rain that night? If it did, could be water collecting somewhere and shorting
out some exposed wiring which was left behind due to the removal of your stereo gear.

didnt rain, i wash my car pretty frequently anyway so im not sure, as for the relay.... well. my mechanic was lookin at buying a magna, and its lights werent working. he asked if he could borrow my relays, turns out thatt wasnt the problem. he did put them back and they worked fine, this was about 3 weeks ago. you think maybe somethings come loose in one? cheers for all your help too.

Just a word of advice, dont change fuses for larger fuses, they are there for a reason, if your fuses keep blowing it is indicative of a short circuit somewhere. If you up the fuse then more current is going to your cars electrics than it can handle.

Auto elec may be your best point of call.
