I'm just wondering if anyone here has replaced a stock steering wheel to a ralliart one. Is it a quick out and in swap, disconecting the battery of course and relocating everything into the new wheel, including the cruise control? Or is it more involved. Would it be recomended to have a profesional do this or is it an achieveable mod?

I had this done on a previous vehicle by my local mitsubishi dealer because of the air bag...

I'm in the same boat, picked up a ralliart wheel and getting it fitted, if it wasnt airbag i would do it but i dont want the chance of that going off lol

The ralliart wheel I got has the cruise control on it and there are just 2 wires to connect. It seems quite easy to replace according to the manual. Make sure the battery is disconnected. Use tape on the clock spring so it doesnt move from the mating marks (><). But if you have doubts then go to any mechanic, my local repco guy said he'd do it for $15.

I can't remember what i was charged for replacing the steering wheel on my old magna because i bought it through the dealer... but probably an hours labour
