OK another noise question.

This is a weird one as it is happening to both my car (TR) and a friends TE.

There is a noise from the front of the car at low speed. It is coming from the front hub area. :?

Pressing the brake has no effect. My brakes are near new (entire system)and my friends just changed his pads.

The noise sounds like a dull squeak that only occurs when the wheel is at a certain point of it's rotation. Again it disappears at about 35 to 40 KM/h.

I'm about to check the hub bearings but anyone have any other ideas ?

DUDE I HAD TH SAME DEAL!

BEHIND YOUR BRAKE DISC IS A PLATE, IF ITS BEEN KNOCKED IT RUBS LIGHTLY ON YOUR DISC. ALL U NEED TO DO IS STRAIGHTEN IT BY PUSHING TH OUTER EDGES TILL IT SITS STRAIGHT.

DONT KNO IF I EXPLAINED IT WELL, BUT U GET TH IDEA.

OR......IT COULD BE BEARINGS

another pair of words, brake pads.

There are anti squal plates on the calipers, these usually do not get cleaned when pads are fitted and the caliper pins do not get cleaned and lubricated thus become sticky

Wheel bearings are not exxy but you will also then have to have them pressed in to the hubs and get a wheel allignment afterwards
