New to this sort of thing but I thought I would start off with a question that has crossed my mind a few times.
If you could put any V8, drive line, ect in your Magna (money is no object) what would it be?
And would you keep it frount wheel drive ( insane!! ) or make it the sickest RWD on earth?

My dream list;
*Holden VL V8, Turbo,
*3 speed quick shift auto
*9 inch LSD
*Tubbed With monster slicks on the rear.

Dreams are free.:D

why would you want to use the 5L from a VL... hahaha..

hrm... woulnd't mind putting the 5.5L V8 engine from the e55 amg in it.. of course supercharged..

or for wank factor a 454... but a nice 351w would sound nice

Good Question:confused:. I would have thought you would have to put in something like independent wish bone or something. Don't know how it would go, use to have a Pajero. Top heavy + wish bone + cornering fast = $10,000 to fix roll over damage:rofleek:

I'd use the Mitsubishi 8A80 GDI engine (4.5 L DOHC V8)

This thread reeks of n00b.

I'd just buy another car instead of trying to make my TR a 'fully hectic sleeper' namely something that picks up girls under the age of 40, sex appeal is where it's at.

It's just a Magna shell ontop of a premade chassis and engine like the Holden and Ford V8 Supercars.

As for the thread, I'd take the 4.3L V8 out of the Ferrari F430 - 366kW N/A goodness. I'd keep FWD tho. lol

lol I can just picture you comming around a corner with the engine screeming at 8,000rpm, full lock but headed straight for the gutter as the front heavilly understeers.

personally i'd keep it still in the v6 family.. with the DOHC 3.5v6 (from memory there is such a thing), turbo or supercharged, and hav AWD with custom settings to 20/80... and pimp factor it'll hav a VIP style wide body kit, a set of 19"s with deep dish, it'd be jet black, with cream interior and chrome and woodgrain everywhere :D

and possablility it be a 3rd gen wagon :P

i'd dump the m3 gtr v8 into the car, switch it to rwd, and upgrade the interior and body to make it look hot

v8 from an M5.

Add angel eye head lights.

RWD BMW M5 transmission.

BMW M5 body.

BMW M5 interior.

BMW M5 badges.

BMW M5 suspension.

Yep, that BMW M5 would make the baddest luxuriest superrest magna ever.

700ci Keith black repo Ford big block with a 14/71 blower, mechanical injection, nitrous, and methonal. backed up by a lenco 2 speed airshift, and a big stall converter. doun the back will be a 4 link and a 9" with a full spool, and floating hubs, with 34x15.5 x 15 slicks

I'd go AWD, with the F6 Typhoon engine. Yea its not V8 but still its a cool. If its was V8 hmm... I'd take a Benz SL55 AMG engine and go RWD.

The Mitsu v8 looks like it has potential. DOHC, and only 4.5 litres, it pushes out some ponies.

# Power — 206 kW (280 PS) @ 5000 rpm
# Torque — 412 N·m (304 ft·lbf) @ 4000 rpm
