Finally got around to tidying up my ghetto boot install so I thought I'd throw up a few pics. Almost done with the stereo now, just gotta rig up some sort of protection for the wires below the amp and make some tweeter pods. Blu-tacked tweeters at the moment. :disgusted

where'd you get it and how much? I need one for my 12" Type S. :)
Nice and neat too btw. A shame your amp isnt like the Alpine digital monoblocks, where you can completely hide all wires, (like so (http://au.geocities.com/downeysworld/bootlong.jpg)). Still a nice job though!

Got the grill from Northfield for 40 bucks. Part number/ID is KTE-12WG. Yeh I gotta do something with the wires, I dont want stuff flying around the boot and knocking them loose.
hey Tim-E, are those sub boxes custom made, or pre-made? im considering on making my own custom box, but am thinking of just buying a pre-made box

they are actually in 2 seperate pre-made boxes, both purchased from Northfield. I bought one and then later added a second hence the 2 seperate boxes.
There is a couple more pics of my boot in the Hall of Fame thread, page 6 i think. Anyways I have since sold one of the subs so back to a single again! lol
On topic, $40 is a bit steep for just a grille. I reckon i could put together something to protect the sub for pretty cheap....hmmmmmm.
