Hi again

Do the 3rd gens with ABS use DB1223 or DB1203 in the front? According to listings, they should use 1223, but I have always used 1203s in my KE, KH veradas. I need to get a set for my 2001 KJ. Again, they list 1223s, but past experience has proven this incorrect. Can somebody please clarify the difference?

thanks

The 2001 KJ Verada should have the PBR calipers and take 1203 front and 1204 rear brake pads as with all TJ/KJ series front drive models with or without ABS.

The 1223/1239 are designed for use in the TJ/KJ AWD and TJ Ralliart models, amongst others.

One way to check is to remove or peek through the spokes of your front wheel and the model number should be visible on the brake pad itself depending on how dirty they are.

I have an '02 KJ and a '99 TH, both run PBRs and both use DB1203 & DB1204.

Changed both pads myself.

Thanks for clarifying this for me. I might run a set of Lucas Pads this time around.
