Remove the blinkers, there's a few bolts behind them, and there are a few bolts near the grille. I think it's two bolts at both ends of the light.
Obviously you also need to unplug them :D

You'll need to remove the windscreen-washer water bottle to get to the driver's-side one.

Simple question, simple answer, simple procedure.

[EDIT] Just checked some photos, looks like you actually need to remove the grille to get to the inner bolts. Just flick the tab-lock things with a screwdriver, but be careful, you don't want to break any of it.
To reinstall, take out the plastic bits the tabs fit into, fit them to the grille, and carefully snap it all back into place.

Pics in a minute, once I finish editing.

if you look in from the top (from the engine bay) there is a little metal clip holding them in, once you pull that out you just need to easy the plastic tab free (the thing the metal clip was in) and it pulls out. will try get you some pics of what i'm on about

you get to the metal clip in where the red arrow shows

Don't have any pics of the blinker bit, but as snu2 said, there should be a metal clip slipped over part of the plastic, take this out, and you can then push the plastic clip in, releasing the blinker. Be careful when putting it back in, the metal clip seems to be there as an extra push against the plastic, even then it may not lock in properly. Make sure there's pressure on the plastic clip so your blinker doesn't fall out!

Attached is a pic with the bolts and grille clips roughly circled, but sounds like you've figured it out.
