Hi guys, I havent posted on here for ages (I do read allways) but i thought i would just let you guys know not to use the Wizard Car Wash Brushless wash especially the one in Hoppers Crossing :P . Basically my 98 Verada allready had a bit of a dull roof. But last night, lazy me desided to go through the automatic wash (the one that just uses water no brushes) and this was the end result...

mine is kinda similar to that, not near as bad tho, ive used megs colorX which fixes it up good, then sealed it with megs gold class, and after a few days in the sun it fades again. is respray the only solution?

get your exterior professionally detailed - prob cost ya around the $300 mark for a really good job. That's the best thing you can do other than a full respray (done properly looking closer to the 4k mark)

what exactly does a professional detail include, and how do you think that it would fix the problem? just curious

This happened to two of my cars, one being my Honda and my TR Magna, pretty bad cosmetic damage, makes your car look nice and ****ty. I just got resprays on both of them, not that expensive.

I was thinking about that!! I could of used one of those free tarps you get from super cheap as the soft top aswell!!! :D

I think ile just try a whole bunch of magic solutions on the roof and if no luck. i think i will just get the bonnet, roof and boot sprayed. (they cop the most sun i guess) The doors an stuff are ace! Ive been told $500-$600??? so thats not tooo depressing!:P

any final thoughts?

(BTW i have my old plastic grill off my 98 verada which is free to a good home its just a standard magna one i think PM me if your intrested) West surburbs pickup
