View Full Version : TPS & ISC- How do they look like?
Sorry for being an absolute newbie guys, but I am suspecting that one of those sensors/controllers are causing an unstable 2000rpm idle that has bothered me enough. I would like to fix the problem by replacing either of these parts but I don't know how it looks like. Hope someone can shine some light...:)
Cheers

One is the ISC.
One is the cheaper remedy.
lol thanks!
Now I need to know how a TPS looks like.
Ahh, I can't find the ISC located in the magna.
Could someone send me a picture of where its located in the magna please?

It should be on the side on the throttle body (down near the bottom)
Can you get me a picture inside the magna's engine bay (te)? Im very sorry for being so lost. But I read some threads and someone said it was located at the front of the throttle body.
I still can't seem to find it
I found the ISC at last LOL, Thanks for that guys!!!Can I just replace that thing???
I still don't know how the tps looks like :(

the tps and isc both mount onto your throttle body. just look for two wiring looms plugging into your throttle body. the isc is situated underneath the intake pipe. the tps is the black thing you see on the side of your throttle body when you look into your engine bay from the front. if you're interested in replacing the tps i have one going cheap. just drop me a pm (will probably miss your reply in this thread if you reply here)
Cheers, I've just replaced the ISC, hopefully will fix the problem. As for the TPS I will consider buying off you if thats the culprit.
Anyway, thanks for your help :)
