Ok, manual conversion has been covered before i know. But this is something that I could never puzzle out even after my search.

I have (one of a very limited number) 1996 TE 2.4l Auto. I was curious for some information.

> Do I need a new ECU or am I fine to just lock it to neutral as everyone says?
> Is a lancer box going to handle the power or will I need to strengthen the box etc.?
> Will everything fit properly without major modification?
> Do I need a new/custom flywheel? Can I use the Lancer one?
> Is anyone from Townsville willing to help me if i find the money for it sometime soon?

I ask about Lancer boxes because I have a friend who said she'd sell me the parts from her spare lancer if she had no use for them, therefore i can get the clutch pedal, cylinder, gearbox, shifter, flywheel, "H" and probably the clutch as well ('cept i'll probably need a racing grade clutch, just ask millert85 :D ).

All of the 4g series have the same gearbox bolt pattern and setup. It will not bolt in to the chassis though.
