Hi guys.Just joined the group yesterday and was wanting to source some modifications suppliers in Perth.
Im hoping to do up my 96 Executive Sedan 5 speed with a body kit but money is tight and also lower to car.
So was going to do it bit by bit starting with a rear spoiler.
Can anyone give me some names of local people who can help out with parts and advice on lowering the vehicle.
Off list is ok if its not acceptable to post here.
Thanks
Greg

Heya mate and welcome!!
For bodykits and the like SSV have a fair selection.
I will be going the Sports Wagon Kit personally - but the AM kit is available.
For lowering - most ppl suggest Kings of Lovells Springs - you shouldn't need to change the dampeners - just the springs - and if you order them I can personally give you a hand to fit them - I have helped other members on here with various mods on various models of magnas.
I also did the lowering on my TH!!
The best thing to do - come on a cruise - have a chat to us - and then we can assist in ideas, where to get stuff done, prices etc
Welcome - and hope to see you out on the roads!! Oh - I drive a Silver TH with 18" ROH Fury's with green number plates "MANUAL" if you see me - give me a wave - or stop and have a chat ;)

$310 for set of springs supply only.
$310 for set of springs supply only.
Too much!
$250 for a set of superlow (60mm) or lows (40mm) King Springs which a majority of the Magna's on here have.

yeah - call up autopro and get a price on king springs through them - i have kings super lows front and lows rear and it is great - i removed hte mudgaurds cos they scraped - but have had no other scrapage issues.
Or send Blake (AussieMagna) a PM or email and see what he can source - he has a few contacts!!
Or talk to PSI GTSII - he just got his car lowered in perth.

Yeah the springs themselves are reletively cheap...$250 - $300 sounds about right....the fitting and consequent wheel alignment are about $200 on top of your springs.
I got mine fitted at Maddington Tyre and Suspension, purely as they were the only people open over Xmas...and I could not drive around any longer with my new 18"'s looking like a 4WD
Allstate tyres, Wilkinsons, Malaga Suspensions, WA Suspension centre etc will do it also....budget $500 drive in drive out, get 60mm lowered at the front 40mm at the rear.
And yeah my Front mudflaps scape from time to time...but i'm just waiting for them to wear down to an acceptable level :)

How hard are the springs to fit? Cause I might buiy some lows or super lows for my TS and get my old man to fit them (very good with cars) then take it down for a wheel alignment..
Cheers

Don't forget good old RPW here in perth.
We supply and fit a set of Lovells low / superlow to the car front and rear for $450.00 all fitted drive in drive out.
Or we can sell a set of lovells for $288.00 for a set of four springs.
We can also do the kings and that as well.
Of course once you come to us - you will forever be indebted to yoru credit card as you find all these wonderful other goodies. Some people have likened us to the devil - you will keep selling your soul to modify your magna :D
Speaking of other goodies Dave...howz that single turbo kit for slug-o-matic (auto) Magnas like mine comming along?
Had anyone offer their car as a test platform yet? *wink* ...perhaps mine. *wink*. :-)
