Well, looks like i got rid of the Magna just in time. Here's the deal. Went to the garage to start her up (my sis is taking the car). Started first time as usual. after about 30 seconds of idle, it cuts out! Try to start it up again, but it won't fire up. I can hear the relay ticking away after i stop trying to start it. So is it possible that the fuel pump is not responding? (Yes, there is petrol in the car :P )

Lol @ you taking DP shots of every car in the one location heheh
usually a sign of the fuel pump going is it takes a while for it to crank over
i.e. you will try to start it but it wont fire up and have to turn the key a 2nd time for it to start.
does it even turn over?

LOL, thnks guys. Basically it turns over, but doesn't kit in. I'll have to pull out the multi-meter and check the report coming from the relay box (sends out pulses in cetain intervals which can be monitored with the right equipment). Found it in the workshop manual. Maybe thats why the fuel meter was on the way out? hmmm LOL
