Toying with the Idea of putting The Diamante Bumper on.
Ironically it only has 1 figlight on, leaving the other side perfect for CAI Tubing.
Of course i'd have to get it painted and take off the nudgebar

From memory the Diamante bar with the lip will sit lower than the stock TR/TS bar. But I'm not 100% sure.

Ssv skirts would look nice with it, but yes they are overpriced. No one else makes skirts that i know of so you may not have a choice (if you want skirts).

I wear a skirt some days...

Don't get rid of your wing cause as m4ddog said i will look hot with the dimante front bar :badgrin: , but if you are you can seel it too me

he a disabled bloke (blind one eye) and has full nudge bars front and rear with signs warning that he disabled....... its a nice second gen, an executive, light blue..

Put that diamante front bar on.

The series I & II diamante front bar is a bit lower to the ground than the stock bar, this is because of the front lip.
Does this worry you? Hehe I reckon it would look super.

As you know, mine has two front OEM lip extensions.

Here's a pic of my car and a good mate of mine from diamante owners club, his sigma with series I front bar.

True, it seems that way. However, firstly you measured from the top of the rim to show a comparison point, instead of the wheel arch which would indicate ride height (more useful) than rim size. Secondly that diamante looks to have a lip extension on it, akin to Dimi's diamante (Keeping in mind of course that Dimi has TWO extensions, as opposed to 1 extension ;) )

Different bar to the first pic in this thread...I reposted it to show you, the one on the left is the same bar as what I have.

The lip on the square lighted diamante bar is more like a cover than an extension. It sits on the bar rather than under it. Hence why it does not sit any lower.

It just covers up the "flare" at the very bottom of the bar.

So without the series I lip, it's the same length to the ground? Or with the lip? :confused:

Basically, what your gawking at is the jap diamante series I/euro sigma series I extension lip, with the small removable slots that can be removed depending on your choice of *aerodynamics*
These are different to your standard front Diamante lip extensions because they are bigger and come from the top of the range Diamante as an Option. So sourcing these will take patience and a lot of calling around! :rant:
Personally, I prefer the slots in place, as with the slots out, it makes the lip look like it was broken or something.

Anyhow, these lips can be sourced from jap wreckers. You'll have to ask for the diamante front or 1991-1993 Sigma front bar or lip.
For series I you'll be asking for 1991-1993. Series II parts will be 1994-1995 :D

I think these extension lips would be a great add on to a TS project :thumbsup:

Lucid, as you can see in the 3rd photo, the car without the extension lip has small slots in the original TS bumper. This is where the lip would lock into place.
Without these slots in our Aussie front bar's, your options would be either drilling the extension lip from under it onto the stock TS bar, or just use tarzan's grip glue to secure it in place!
Personally, i'd drill it on! No chance i'll be taking it off if i did come across one! Hehe :D

Paul, the top of the range diamante's and sigma's didn't come with any option for side skirts or rear pods :cry:
