Has anyone investigated uprated camshafts for the 6G72 SOHC?
The reason I ask is the information available from the RPW website and the information from the Mitsubishi workshop manual lists completely different specs for stock camshafts.
The manual lists the stock cam as having a duration of 262* with 6.25mm or 0.246" of lift, while RPW lists the stock cam (although they do state it's from a US Chrysler) as having a duration of 182* with 10mm or 0.394" of lift.
What sort of profile would suit a slightly altered N/A motor, ie. exhaust porting, extractors, ported manifold?
