Can anyone tell me where abouts the fuel level sender for a 2nd gen 4cyl is, i need to hav a fiddle around with mine. Yesterday the gauge just dropped to empty and hasn't gone back up. And no, before anyone asks, I'm not out of fuel.....yet. Any suggestions as to what else could have caused this are welcome. Cheers guys.

Apparently its on the back wall of the tank. According to the picture in the Gregorys.

Stupid Gregorys book didnt say which way the photo was oriented, so I assumed because they said to jack the car from the rear. :)

Hi fellers, what is all the confusion about? I own two Magnas, 1992 and 1995. I have just finished stripping the 1995 and working on the 1992. Parker Both cars have the fuel tank sender unit mounted on the fuel pump bracket which is mounted on a round plate held in the BACK of the tank with screws, just level with and in front of the rear axle. It is in a difficult position to get out. persevere. I have just checked my car again and realised something interesting. When I switch the engine off, the needle keeps pointing at the level of fuel that is in the tank at the time of turn off. This is the same with both cars. I took the battery out and the needle still points at just under half a tank. Just a guess, but it seems that your guage is either getting no signal or is u/s. hope this helps
