Hi all!

Again I have a question. Seems like the lights in my dash are blown. I was wondering if my TH has a speed warning light that lights up when you go over the adjusted speed limit? I saw this on my friends TJ Series 2 and noticed that there is a speed warning light that goes on when he goes pass his speed warning setting.

Also in my last thread is it confirmed that I have an ABS light on my TH dashboard? When I first start my car I should be able to see my ABS warning light come on for a few seconds right?

my dash as a small light in the bottom left corner that says SPEED when i go over im drivin a TJ MY02 advance

The TH has the Speed Alarm on the trip computer, you set it by holding in the two up n down arrows, you will hear three beeps, set the speed to your desire, if you travel over it you will hear two beeps... To turn it off hold the same two buttons until you hear the beeps...

The ABS light is on the top right, it actually says "Anti Lock" in a yellow highlight

But yes, my bros TH advance had it. Set the speed on the console display, and when u hit that speed, the 'speed' light on the dash cluster would come up along with the mee meep.


Count yourself lucky, it gets a little annoying after a while. I don't use mine anymore

mine just beep once which is ok but it really should be annoying so that you slow down OR actually limit you speed to what you set it at which would be my ideal solution cus im a shocking lead foot

Number 1, YES it should light up, the TH series came out with Standard ABS, if you have SRS then yeah ABS should be lit up, I have the '99TH of which I have missed the SRS

Number 2, Im sure there is a green "Speed" warning light, but I havent used mine for like 6 years cos its fckin annoying.. But give me ten minutes and I'll confirm this for ya :D

I think you guys got me wrong I was saying that I may have a few blown light bulbs in my dash and I'm trying to find out what is blown. I have the beep beep sound but was wondering if I have a speed warning light on the left bottom side of my dash like I saw in my friends TJ Exec Series 2.

Thanx for the effort man. Ok so its confirmed that I need to replace my ABS light. As for the Speed warning light, on my friends TJ his is an orange colour.

Question 2: YES definatly a orange "SPEED" warning, it will show in the lower middle section of your instrument cluster.

So sounds as thou both lights are screwed, hope this helps ya out buddy

Hi man seriously thanx for all that help. Shall now go and change these bulbs. Any idea if there is any way to check if all the bulbs are working?

As for the speed bulb not sure yet. Didn't have a chance to see if it works. But the bulb is blown though so I changed it.

Wondering what else could be blown on the dash or worst what bulbs are missing. Man the last owner was really poor or something.

I mean I had to change the N and D lights. Then the Anti lock and speed lights. I really wonder what lights I'm missing. I think this could be dangerous if my warning lights are not working.

Turn your car onto accessories and tell me what lights you have (dont worry bout the auto lights cos i havent got em).... Ill do the same to mine and we'll compare notes :D

Yup I checked I've all the lights as drawn in the diagram and they are all there and working. Thanx for that. I also noticed that on the top right hand side, left hand side of the Anti Lock lights there is a brake (the word brake) light indicator/warning light. I was shining my torch and saw that there is a brake word there. So i just put a bulb there. So far nothing happens. Any one as any idea what that is?

I thought it looked like (!) this though, because i think that's what it is in our Verada.

Oh no yes I have the same " ! " and it comes on when the hand brake is on. Its a handbrake warning light. But like I said, I found the waring light "brake" while looking and shining a torch at my dash. Was just wondering if this just not used? Or it will come on when its happy! Ha ha!!

Hey guys I've found one more thing in the dash. Its say 4WS. 4 Wheel Steer?! Does any Magna have this feature? What other cars use this dash? Why is there a 4WS? Anyone?
