Take it back, Mine had the same problem, they replaced it.

Common fault with the TL's. Got something to do with the contacts in the steering wheel i believe?

Surprisingly - it hasn't happened to mine, although it may have been fixed previously.

saw the thread title and just had to add, try viagra or that nasal spray should get ya a horn :bowrofl: :bowrofl:

yeah its covered under warranty so all you have to do is book it in and take it to them
shouldnt take more than half an hour to fix

The horn died on my TL. I just replaced mine with the twin 380 horns. :D These sound better and louder :D :D :D :D

Where did you mount the replacement horns? Both in the place of the original? How much did they cost?

I was just about to replace mine with Holden Astra horns. They are louder and not as wimpy as the original TL units.

The low note horn I placed where the original was, and the high note I made up a new bracket and placed it just above the cruise control unit. Used the bolt that holds the aircon pipe in place and made up a simple jumper connector to give them both some juice.

Got them from a wrecker for $5 each. To be honest not sure if they are 380 horns took the wreckers word for it.

Hey fella's the horn in my TL seems only to work when it wants to when you want it to it wont, my cig lighter socket doesn't seem to work and dash dimmer switch won't work :rant: , havnt bothered to book in yet waiting for its 45k service
