hey guys, just wondering if you could help me...
just seeing if anyone here has 2x12" sealed sub box that fits between the wheels in the boot of a 3rd gen sedan. i know theres a few of yas out there, and just wondering how much you guys paid to have it made (if u had it made) and is it easy to get a 60-62 litre sealed box in there on a nice angle?
any help/info much appreciated.
cheers

Dont know if im of any help here...
But for me to get all my wood cut in 18m was $60
All i had to do was glue/screw it together + Cover it.
So if you are interested in getting a custom one made, take the measurements yaself (so its suited to the sub) and yeah, shouldnt cost ya much.
Hope this helps

not sure how much the pre made boxes are but they should be too much
somewhere between the 100-150 dollar mark
but you could make yourself a box much cheaper than that
i made my own box and it cost me next to nothing
well i got the wood from work and cut it out at work too soo all i had to do when i got home was wack it together
had the screws, glue, fill-a-gap and needed tools at home
took it back to work and painted it black
but yeah should cost too much and they are fearly basic to build

Hey,
I bought my 2 12" sub boxes for $50 each at Autobarn. I bought them about a year ago but they still buy them in and they are in at the moment. If one store can get them for this price they probably all can.

what are your woodwork skills like? as Mr_Roberto said, if you can get some measurements any reasonably timber place will cut up some 18mm MDF to size for you.
i had 2x12s there in 40L enclosures each (total of 80L) and that was a completely square-edged box, so there is an absolute tonne of room.
We brought one from autobarn a few months ago for around $90. DUal 12" box... fits perfectly (with less than 1cm combined space on the edges).
Perfect height too.

If you don't have an Autobarn nearby, why not goto their website or call the closest store to you. They will happily give you measurements and ship the things to you if it means they get a sale.
