got the ralliart rear and wheel arch flares fitted today! luckily it fitted over the current mufflers so i didn't have to cut it off to get it home
will be visiting the exhaust shop tomorrow, hopefully will have the quad pipes fitted by the end of the week! (and no, i will not be driving it like that... exhaust looks dodgy as!)

u shmuck you got dualies!
what did that set u back if u dont mind me asking (just the moulding work)
looks fantastic!
Hey Asylum, I'm thinking of doing dual exhausts too. Rear bar looks nice btw. Is it me or does the left exhaust cutout seem slightly larger and more squared off?

Looks great. I would have been sceptical to think that a ralliart rear bar would go well with ground effects skirts and front bar, but seeing it - it really works.

all up it cost $500 (mates rates) but that included painting the whole bumper and wheel arch flares. he said the ralliarts moulding turned out to be much more of a pain compared to other standard style cutouts, but he stuck to the original quote. to do a similar job, most places would probably charge about $500 for just the moulding work + paint
the right hand side of the left-hand cutout has a slightly sharper edge than the stock one, but shouldn't be too noticable with the exhaust in the holes. i think it is exagerated by the fact that the bumper section in the middle of the 2 cutouts is higher than the outsides, which makes it look a little odd from some angles.
i was worried that the bumper was going to be too wide for the skirts, and the curved-out section wouldn't line up either but luckily it all blends nicely, just trying to decide to do with the silver inserts to get them to match up better.

Who did the work on the bumper? that's exactly what i want mine to look like. Do you know what they did to do it? How much did just the cutout cost do you know?

Looks good dude! I like
You could possibly go with the bottom section of the bar silver... have the corners and the section on the back silver. That'd look ok, might need to find some way to taper it off tho n just have the corners silver

Looking at doin exact same thing to the rear of mine, althou will be a vrx dual exhaust instead of ralliart... Im wanting to put two magnaflow's with dual outlets (chrome tips) in exhaust holes... I'll post some b4 n after pics on here saves wasting another thread.. (Providing thats all good with Asylum)....

sounds exactly how i was hoping it would, i can putt around town and its as quiet as stock (well, maybe a VRX/ralliart) but has a nice rumble when the foot is put down, almost as loud as before but without any drone at all!
no worries Damo_ooyar, i'd be interested to see how the VRX bar will look on a TH with dual cut-outs!

thats mad. i have SRT mufflers and as much as i love them coz they sound different to other magna ppl with exhaust i miss the red back sound and was planning on changing it later down the track.
thanks

Gotta beg you to rice those tips with the rolled XR8 and SS commodore ones - they taper in opposite directions. Or level tips would suit too. My 5c. Looks the goods thou hey!?
Did you use 2x redback 2.5" or 2 x 2". Where is the split in the system?
Where have I been for this thread....
That seriously looks awesome, uber classy VIP. Can't wait to see it for real.
Top job!
