just lookign at a set of 2nd hand 17's....but before i throw the guy an offer i wanna make sure the rims will fit. this is the specs on the wheel

should be fine, I have the same sized rims with +35 offset, and they JUST fit in the guards, so you shouldn't have any problems, as your offset will give you a bit more room to play with.

No, standard is 46mm positive offset onthe 16x6 and 17x7 wheels. I have 40mm positive on
my aftermarket 17x7 and they fit without any protrusions. The front ones line up with the
guard. Only other thing to make sure is the spigot diameter (the diameter of the hub hole) as it needs to be a snug fit cause it is the weight bearer.
