Does anyone know of mods to sharpen up the shift on the 5sp tiptronic fitted to the AWD Verada, it is disappointingly lethargic.

Also, having just installed a Sprintex (AAC), I am curious about possible improvements gained by headwork and cam swap (keeping the standard 6psi boost and stock internals).

Somewhere in this forum I noted that a supercharged FWD Magna was making more than 250 flywheel kw with modified heads.

There's not a whole lot you can do apart from completely reprogramming the transmission computer.

With regards to cams and heads, you'd be best off having a reasonable port and polish job, and getting a blower and automatic specific cam. RPW (www.rpw.com.au) have a LOT of gear for the 3.5, including a large range of cams.

you wont be able to do cams heads etc... without being able to do a custom tune... and sprintex wont let you if you want to keep your warranty...
