That lookls like your rear speaker cable. In the exec the cable is there but not used. There should also be one on the other side as well

alright yeah theres a 2nd one on other side, so mystery solved lol, thanks, any idea what type of plugs would fit into these things, could make for an easy install on speakers.

Again thanks :)

Probably easier and cheaper to just strip it and attach new ones. Most speakers just use standard spade connectors, don't they?
Or you could bodgie it and just connect the wire straight to the speaker.

Then again, you may find that it will fit straight onto some speakers? I don't have the sedan, so don't know the plug setup, but I'm guessing it might be two connections at 90degrees to each other? I think quite a few speakers have that setup on their connectors, but I'm not an audiophile, so can't say for certian.

Most stock speakers have that setup (guess it makes the plugs easier to make), but most if not all after market speakers use the standard spade connectors.
You were right the first time, easiest and cheapest way is to just chop off the plug and attach some spade connectors or even just attach it straight to the speaker.
However i was under the impression that 2nd gens that only came with the front speakers standard didn't have a rear output on the head unit?

Simple solution here, go to pinch a part and cut some male plugs off with the 2 pins and solder these to the speaker terminals. You will find these sort of plugs all through magna's and early Mazdas also have these everywhere as well.

I have the crimping tool, the terminals and the plugs here in huge quantity so when I am doing this sort of thing i do not have to use standard dodgy crimp terminals, the other advantage is you can not accidently reverse connect componants.
