OMG i went to change my thermostat in my TS V6 and as i took the top hose off the connection on the radiotor crumbled and now i can't reconnect the hosing so i am desperatly in need for another radiator.

I don't think a second hand one would be any gd. So wat r prices like on Recon ones and if anyone knows of a place in Adelaide.

SO angry right now hope the thread makes sense

Your post didnt quite make sense so if its just a hose that crumbled these are easy to replace, you dont need a whole new radiator - if your talking about the metal part on the radiator where the hose goes over and it leaves a gap then you will need a new one (need to see it to be able to judge properly)

Thanks for the link i will have to look into that

For the moment i am gonna get it bodged up with some braise welding, it is more the piece that the hose fits over but it is very close to the main part of the radiator if that makes sense

ta 4 the feedbak

I had a 1992 TR Magna do the same thing I shat myself 230kms out of Perth middle of freaking no where, kids in car, 35 degree day and my temp just jumped up reaaal quick!

My dad came up with a dodgie idea to get me through lol, get a bit of PVC pipe, and a bit of silastic, chuck her on...good as new! Such a farm boy

(aparently its very common) I have a mate who ownes a Radiator place and he fixed it for me, but before that i rang around and to get a new top tank and get the radiator flushed would cost me $190.

But i dont know if the TS is the same, plastic top tank, just cracking and crumbeling away, and harldy any room to attach the hose, Sounds pretty much the same. But is your top tank plastic crap?

Not to sure on the type of material but it doesn't look plastic.

Isn't it a mix of copper and alloy and stuff?

Turns out the radiator is plastic and is impossible to fix so i went to the Wreckers purchased a gd 2nd hand one and it runs great $50 from Lonsdale U-Pull it

Yeah pretty much all the magnas are plastic tanks on the raditor. Tough break as most radiator places can replace top and bottom tanks usually, but being plastic.....
