I hseard about the wheels should not be out of the guards... what is the max that a magna can take? 7' or 7.5 or 8'...
anyway thanks for your reply... cheers anyone out there know if the honda ones would fit? is there any advantage or disadvantage or getting the honda rims since the tyre size is different form stock mags of a magna...

the falcon rims would almost definately fit. not sure about the hondas tho. my rims are 225/50/16, thats 7" wide and theres Plenty of room left (2nd gen). i would be surprised if a magna couldnt take anything bigger than 8". im pretty sure ive read about magnas with at least 8.5", but hey i could be wrong

lets say the mags could fit... would i be able to chane the tyres to 215/60R16 from 205/55R16?? or is the rims restricted to only 205/55??
thanks...

Hi with the ford rims which is 16x7 what tyres should be fitted on it? 215/60R16 or XXXXX???
any recommendation on what tyres can give me a quiet ride or maybe a quiet with relatively good grips and of course the cheapest option?

The mitsubishi sports rims which are 16x7 came with 215/60R16 so i can't see why not.

Go to WheelMaster (http://www.wheelsmaster.com/rt_specs.jsp)and have a play.

But basically, in order to retain similar OD to 205/65R15, you need to go 215/55R16 (0.8%
smaller) as 215/60R16 (2.6 % bigger) is too big. As for tyres with good grip and quietness,
go for hankook xq optimo tyres. Cheap and has good grip and is dead quiet. Its what I
have on at the moment (225/50ZR17 98W XL). The stock Bridgestone Grid II's I had on
before were very noisy.
