hey guys, just wondering if a set of TJII AWD mags will fit onto a TS V6? If so do i have to have the same wheel nuts as the TJ or will i get away with the TS ones?
thanks

Yes the wheels would fit without problems. What have you got at the moment? Steel or
alloy wheels and what size and what size tyres?
1. If you have steel wheels, then you need to use the nuts that come with the new mags.
2. If you have factory alloy wheels, then you can use the existing nuts.
This is cause the factory alloys have a flat bezel and require a washer on nuts used on
steel wheels which cars with factory alloys and steel spare has.
3. If you have 14 or 15 inch stock wheels with 185/75R14 or 205/65R15 tyres, then fitting
the AWD wheels with the 215/60R16 tyres would mean the new ones would be way too big
and cause your speedo to be out. On the otherhand, if you were just getting the wheels
only and need new tyres then:
i) If your stock were 205/65R15, you need 215/55R16 tyres.
ii) If your stock were 185/75R14, you need 205/55R16 tyres.

atm i have factory TS mags. They are 15inch, i think 205's are on front and 225's on rear.

Hmm.... 225 is a bit too wide for the factory 15" alloys. Very illegal.

they might be 215's not sure, there either 215's or 225's

Ok. 215 is marginal. Anyway, 215/55R16 on all four new wheels should do. Don't put wider
tyres on the rear as it is bad for handling (esp for fwd car) and people will laugh).

will the wheel nuts be the same cause i think the TS has a different pattern, this true?

Just use the ones you have at the moment as they should be ok to use on the new mags.
If you remove one, you should see that it has a washer collar to reduce the tapering.

i checked, the rears are 225/60 and fronts are 215

I wonder which tyre retailer fitted those. 225/60 requires wheel width from 6" to 8" and I
doubt that the factory 15" alloys 6" or wider.

The thread size should be the same, Try threading the nuts on without the wheels first. If
it becomes stuck, don't force it, use the original ones.
Also, the tyres on the new mags been 215/60R16 would be significantly bigger than your
stock ones so that when the speedo says 100 you are actually doing 102.7.

The wheel nuts are the same thread size and will be fine.
