Hi all,
Been considering the question:
"how low should a tj ralliart go"
Some say as low as you want. Howeveri dont really wantto damage my front skirt.
Has anybody dumped their TJ ralliart?
if so, what size and type springs did you go.
thanks in advnace for your help.

Ralliart drivers have had enough trouble if you have the splitter on the front too. As far as how low, it depends what you want. Do you want a car that looks hot sitting on its **** or do you want a practical can get it out of driveways or over speed bumps without too much hassle?
I have Super lows in the front of my exec and I have a little trouble here and there, worst case scenario for me is i scrap the tie down bolts underneath, never actually got the bumper or anything.
Akko was around the other week, Ralliart, 19"s standard ride with the front splitter and he clipped the curb backing out of my driveway on a slight angle the other week where before i lowered my magna I could back straight out no angle and a bit of a speed and have no hassles.
So as I said before just what you want, practical or looks? I believe I have a nice combo in my car as its a daily driver and I work in retail, lots of speed bumps and also my driveway its a bit of a ***** if ur not careful or if there are bins or cars on the curb it can be really really tight getting out...

If you have the splitter than no, forget about lowering as it sits way too low and you'll scrape it on steep driveways. You can remove the lip quite easily(just screws in) and then you could go superlows without any major issues.

I've said it before, I have standard springs in mine with the splitter removed and I just get in my own driveway and have trouble in some situations.

on the ground mate is where they look good...
this is mine.. i drive it daily around sydney with splitter on and have yet to crack my front bar.. ive given up trying to keep the bottom of my splitter black though... i scrape it daily and thats being super super careful
if your not a careful driver you'd be going through front bars weekly with your car lowered like mine.. i have standard springs compressed approx. 1.5" ... so it should be around 2" lowered if your comparing it to a standard magna...

i havent got a ralliart but i got a kitted magna that sits pretty low, im only 60mm all round lowered from stock and i scrape heaps of stuff ive only cracked the frontbar once due to my stupidity (all will be fixed soon) in 12 months of driving it
theres a few spots i kno my car cant go (including the local drive thru bottle-o  )
if ur careful its not a huge issue... plus going over speed bumps on an angle gives u a reason to piss other ppl off :D
