arrrgh!! so I've just found out that the kit I ordered and paid for 6 weeks ago won't be in the shop until Friday (12/01).
hopefully I can drop the car off on Friday (it was going to be dropped off tomorrow 10/01) and take a day next week (probably Thursday 18/01) to go and pick it up. ...sigh... another week without supercharged goodness.
the good news is that the brakes should arrive by the time I pick it up.
cheers,

hehe 2 day delay and your having a sook :P
im guessing they will seriously underquote the time it will take for labour and you'll still be sitting around cussing them when they're late to return the car :D
but just think of the good times ahead :)

they better not need more than 5 working days with the car to do a two day job.
I guess I'm more annoyed than I should be because I had arranged all my leave (ages ago!!!) and actually had the car booked in at a panel shop next week.
it's actually a 5 day delay, because I was picking the car up this Saturday, and now it won't be until next Thursday.

I had an "interesting" experience when I had my supercharger fitted in Sydney regarding completion time. Make sure you have a contingency plan if they haven't finished it.
Let us know when it's done and we can compare noteslol .

Bah quit your grizzlin. I waited 7 weeks, and at a guess I'd say Egos car has probably been off the road for about 12 weeks to date. :D

i feel your pain wook. i put my deposit down 3 months ago, and nexr monday can't come soon enough. the installers will have 2 days to install the kit, then a day down the road getting tuned on my piggyback ecu. no one is an individual anymore if you have forced induction.
This is what the soup nazi from seinfeld had to say . . . .

It took around two months from the time of placing the order to do mine.
Well worth the wait and when I had some teething problems, it was fixed immediately.
Now pulls like a locomotive and very pleasant to drive.

yeah, but Ego broke his car (twice ??), and you knew your install was going to take ages. the kit is meant to be installed in 2 days, 3 tops.
oh well, I'm off to Sydney tomorrow :D
gonna drop by Whiteline on the way to drop off the sway bar.
cheers,
