hi guys i am looking for some info on gtv verada's

specifically speaking; i know that there are "10 speakers" but,

what are they? splits 3-ways 6X9's
what RMS?
what brand?

10 speakers is really 8 speakers cuz the 6x9's are two way and 8 speakers is really 4 speakers with the other 4 just been the tweeters and i think little midrange speakers on the top of the dash. i'll go check RMS later and let you know, from memory there no name (mitsu) with the 6x9's havin something like 50W.

it pumps pretty good for a stocky, just wind the bass settin up and feel the car vibrate :P

Mine is 10 speakers in 6 locations as follows:

2 x 2-way 6"x9" on the rear shelf
2 x 2-way 6" on the front doors
2 x 1-way tweeter on the front door corners (where the mirrors are).

so the KL/KW's don't have the little speakers on top of the dash, near the tweeter?

mine also has the little speakers on the dash where the large round plugs in the execs are.
The rear speakers are Mitsubishi brand and the rear 6x9's are 10W:surprised
They do seem to work well for a stock system though.

There are holes there covered with cloth (2nd picture in my sig) but I doubt there are
speakers in them since its already got the tweeter pods on the door corners (first picture in
my sig).

I've just done an isolation test and there definitely aren't any speakers on the front dash.
Also, my rear 6x9 are also Mitsu bran (probably manufactured by AWA like the 2nd gens)
and has an RMS of 20W and peak of 40W.

The speakers on the top of my dash work, i put my ear close up to it and could clearly hear sound, just not as loud as the ones on the doors.

btw the brochure states that there are 10 Speakers in 8 Locations

From memory, Mitsu uped the power of the audio system of the Veradas in the KL/KW
series because too many people complained about the lack lustre audio in the Veradas.
