Anyone ever replaced front wheel bearings? I've got a 2nd Gen TS 3.0L V6. Workshop Manual reckons it's best to leave it to the professionals, but I have done it on other cars before. Is it really that bad?

If its the same as the 3rd gen then no its not that bad, providing you have a press to get the old bearing out and the new one in. Also pays to replace the lower control arm dust boot (where the steering knuckle joins) as I usually end up destroying these every time I take the hub off.
