What models came out with Traction COntrol? Can you get it fitted and what opions do people have of magnas with T/C.

I seen Mitsiman say they have got lsd's at rpw will they really help traction, are they worthwhile. i know its useless getting one unless you have a lot of other mods.

i didnt think any of them came out with traction control. i may be wrong though i spose.

The VRX, and the Ralliart are the only ones that I can think of that had them.

Only the auto models had it afaik.

TCL comes on Sports, VRX, ralliart and Verada's.

where LSD is only available for ralliart.


have no idea if you can add LSD or TCL as an optional extra. might cost around $2-3G may be more.

would take lots to convert it and i isnt really that good......

ive found in the vrx that if it loses too much traction and traction control tries to fight it it runs like an absolute dog.....ur foot will be flat and the car will be putting along....never drag with traction control on either :cry:

yes - traction control is only in the autos and LSD is only in teh Ralliart Manual

You can get a lsd put into your car though cant you to help traction. HOw much more traction would you actually get

i think u get alot more cos it has to spin both wheels doesnt it? where as a normal magna is only spinning one?

May as well hire a Chauffer, if you take all the challenge out of driving ;)

i would get one when i have done a lot more mods. cuz even now when its stock you can lose traction easy

I found TCL very helpful when ur not experienced driveing a FWD that actually has POWER! :D
In my Lancer I got around understeer through round-a-bouts, by getting the rear end to slide just as much as the front.. :lol: ... with the Magna however the front just ploughs ahead wherever its pointed if u get a bit excited... particularly in the wet. TCl just trys to stop it once it's started.

AS for draging with the TCL.. it does help to an extent.. when I dragged an EB V8 Flacon I shot 2 lenghts ahead while he wheel spun, & it was even from then on.. it does bog down when it kicks in though.

to answer your question - no.

TCL is fitted only to Autos - cannot be done to a manual - where as the rectify that the Manual Ralliart comes with an LSD.
