I'm pretty serious of scrapping the Auto box and getting my 3.5 TF into a manual. I've been reading tech articles on these particular conversions, and the Magna's stock computer apparently won't like the change - I've got a piggyback UNI on top of it, and various other mods. Does anyone know what sort of cost/work is involved?

just do a search on MANUAL CONVERSION.
This has been discusses multiple times.
And basically regaurded pointless unlesss you can find a halfcut of a manual magna. Other wise u should trade in for a manual

from what i understand a manual box costs more than 2k second hand as they are few and far between

So then.....
Say for instance then that all the parts needed for a Manual conversion were available.....
How much SERIOUSLY would people pay...?
Im just curious to know at what point is it not worth it?
This is for All the parts only.. no labour... just Parts..

I'd probably be prepared to pay anywhere up to 3k, not including labour.

what personalised mods do you have on your car?? if there aint many, or if they can be replaced, why not just sell or trade in your current car on the same but in a manual. i cant see it costing ya more than 3 grand and it would be much less of a hassle.

Without listing my mods (undisclosed :D) it's fair to say that I could buy another magna with the money spent on it. A manual would just be an expensive novelty for me, I guess - considering I'm not going to sell this one with the purchase of my Supra. This topic must just have been for interest's sake, then. 8)
