Precision Response Car Amp 2x150WRMS

The AA-0424 supercedes the popular AA-0434 2 x 150WRMS amplifier, but offers even more power output with a massive 500WRMS x 1 when bridged into a 4ohm load – making this ideal for powering two of the new Precision Response dual 4ohm subwoofers in series/parallel wiring. Variable bass EQ of up to 18dB is included, as is a remote level controller to mount on your dash or centre console, while the fully variable high and low pass filters make this amp equally useful for powering subwoofers or full range speaker systems. At $249 this is easily one of the best value 2-channel amplifiers on the market today.

Specifications:
Power / channel @ 4ohm 14.4V: 150WRMS x 2
Power / channel @ 2ohm 14.4V: 255WRMS x 2
Power / bridged @ 4ohm 14.4V: 500WRMS x 1
Signal/Noise ratio: >90dB
Input sensitivity: 200mV to 5V
Low pass filter: 50 - 500Hz @ 12dB/octave
High pass filter: 50 - 500Hz @ 12dB/octave
Bass boost: 0 -18dB @ 50Hz

Remote level controller: Yes
Dimensions: 340(L) x 258(W) x 50mm(D)

Yep great bang for buck...

There are better out there but at that pricepoint your laughing, and jaycar are great with warranty issues.

500 w rms is a reasonable amount to get a couple of 12s moving

if the subs rms at 250 watts then that amp will power them no worries
but i would be best to have alittle extra power so you dont put too much stress on the amp

Will usually come down to preference as there are alot of subs out there. Try listening to some other installs that are similar to what you want and then go from there. Also depends if you want SQ or SPL.

Jaycar amps are awesome stuff for the price. My mate has a system aimed at SQ using a few jaycar amps and they really do perform well. Im trying to convince him to buy better amps so i can take his!

depends on what type of music you listen to
but i would buy a decent 12" sub than buying 2 lower class 12" subs
