View Full Version : rada interior light
i went plundering at the wreckers today..managed to pick up a few things i was after. I found a KS rada in really good condition, and it still had the interior light intact. Was pretty excited. But i couldn't get the bloody thing off. Didn't want to prise too hard in case i broke it..
ive searched for this on the forum and only found installation threads...so i know its attached to a bracket but i cant figure out how to get it out...?

Hmm, just had a though, can't remember if in the wagon the center and rear lights are the same, if they are, reckon verada ones could be put in the rear? Might be handy to have some map-lights in the rear, when looking for stuff in the dark.
I've got a few 1W Luxeon LEDs lying around here (not to mention the 3Watt'ers), maybe I could retrofit them directly in, that'd make some nice spotties... :D

PS. Just checked the rear, it's a different light to the centre. Dunno about the bracket, couldn't be bothered looking.

mate something is wrong there!
if its from sedan to sedan they should fit absolutly no problems at all.
I think for the middle ones you MAY have to tap the new holes in the dimples of the entre beam of the roof, and i know you do have to tape new threads for the fronts in the centre beam of the roof.
When i mean tap, i mean just give the screw some force until it chews through the metal
