I want to drop my TS. should i get superlows at the front and back, or just super at the front and lows at the back?

dont go supers on the back because it will greatly decrease your ability to carry alot of stuff in the wagon.

thanx mate, i didnt think of that. i sometimes carry alot of stuff the wagon. would it look silly 2 different hights.

the front already sits a bit lower due to the previous reason so increasing that gap even more might look a bit odd. id just go the lows all round

do you know how many inches that will drop me?

MAGWGN

im pretty sure the lows are 40mm so thats around 1.6 inches, but the final result will depend on what condition your original springs are in. they may have sagged heaps so putting the new springs in may not show a visible effect but you will definately feel it driving.

superlows front and back!
If you are after looks then the superlows....
I dont know how much difference you are going to get in relation to load carrying capacity...
Both of the springs will compress very similar levels.. if anything the superlows will compress less since they are a stronger and tighter wind.
Therefore.. I dont reckon(imho) that the amount of stuff you put in the boot will compress the springs any more if they are super or Low... Clearence inside the arch is the only thing youll have to be aware of.. so that if you put the complete 18yo Female teen soccer club into the boot.. and then the back starts a bouncing... it isint going to scuff out on the inside of the top of your wheel arch.... ( I doubt this will happen since the bump stops will be stopping this from happening... So therefore you may end up just killing them quicker)
Hope this made sense... I didnt re-read :D

You cant buy Superlows for the back of the car anymore guys..

You can only get superlows for the front and lows for the back. (In the King Springs range)

If you want to have superlows at the back youll need to get your rear lows compressed.

You can get Lovells superlows still

It's just kings that don't make the superlow rears any more

If that was in my boot i would not even think twice about the stupid springs.

A man (and some women) could only hope for such a event to happen

Will any springs made for TH Magna fit on a TJ because I could imagine they use close to the same suspension system as previous models.

Hey. just got a quote for lows all round supply and fit $475, but i was advised to forgo lowering the rear as my advance is on gas. $275 for just the front.

Also apparently rear sway bar upgrades are no-no's on Jap designed cars they tear the bolt on points away from the chassis. Has anyone heard of this happening or doesn't this guy want my money?

Never heard of that happeneing before!!

But yeah - if you have gas tanks - i dunno how you will go - though us with normal petrol tanks seem no different!!

Also - yes the TJ springs and TH springs are the same.
